Opus Colorado is an online-only music performance college, designed to solve several problems musicians face today. We provide a convenient and affordable way to continue musical education without disrupting current jobs or social responsibilities that are common when relocating to a new city. Tuition and living costs are greatly reduced, making high-quality education more accessible. With our online platform, students have the unique opportunity to learn from exceptional teachers located in different geographic areas, ensuring they receive diverse and high-quality instruction without the need to relocate.
How We Help Students
- Get Strong, Play Better: Students work 1-on-1 with a licensed physical trainer to develop a fitness program which improves endurance, energy levels, and reducing the risk of injury.
- Reduce Nerves: We incorporate the Dynamic Neural Retraining System™ (DNRS) program to help musicians alleviate the fight, flight, freeze response during performances.
- Ensuring Results, Accountability: Instructors ensure students keep practice logs to guide their progress and develop effective practice habits, ensuring consistent improvement.
What to Expect
Our curriculum emphasizes real-world repertoire, to better prepare students for the job market. Additionally, we require students to submit pre-recorded performance videos, building essential experience with social media and video portfolios, crucial skills for modern musicians. This focus on practical, industry-relevant training ensures that our graduates are well-equipped to navigate the evolving landscape of the music profession.
